My spotted fur grants me with a perfect camouflage in the snowy mountains. Dreaded predator, I can attack preys three times bigger than me ! Able to leap over more than 10 meters long, I am also the best jumper amongst the felines.

Where do I live ?

I live in central Asia recluded regions, in the heart of Himalaya.

Which threats ?

As the tiger, I am poached for my claws, my fur and my fangs, which are used into the asian traditional medecine. When I attack the farmers’ livestock, they don’t hesitate to shoot me in retaliation.

Associations sensitize local populations to my protection. Sometimes, these last, poorly informed, do not even know that hunting me is forbidden. Regarding the protected areas, they are too small to have a real effect on my conservation.
