Where do I live ?

I am endemic in the Orinoco Belt, in Columbia and in Venezuela.

Which threats ?

From 1930, I have been hunted by millions because of my skin’s quality, which almost conducted to the extinction of my specie. Since the 1970’s, hunting me is forbidden, but poaching carries on and pollution degrades my habitat.
