Giraffe’s description

I am the tallest terrestrian mammal, thanks to my neck, only composed of 7 vertebras… like men ! I became an endangered specie in 2016.

Where do I live ?

I can be found in 21 different african countries, all of them below Sahara.

Which threats ?

It is not because I am tall that I don’t need space ! The loss of my habitat is one of the greatest threat that weighs on me because men transform my savannah into agricultural lands. I am sensitive to climate change and growing dryness.

Kiwiwho’s word to save the giraffe

Up until very recently, I was not threatened, so everything has yet to be done ! In some countries, our population grows while in others I am going extinct. We need to understand why and regulate it.
