Where does African penguin live ?

I form vast colonies on the islands and coasts of South Africa and Namibia.

Which threats ?

In 1910, 1,5 million of mine were still alive. In a century, my numbers dropped by 95% because of the trade of my eggs, successive oil spills and pollution. I could go extinct in the next 20 years.

Kiwiwho’s word to save the African penguin

Several organisations defend me : I benefit from fishing-free reserves, artificial nests easing my breeding and new techniques coming of help to heal me after the oil spills… But I don’t know if it will be enough.
