Where do I live ?

I live in the East and the South of Africa, mainly in Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and South-Africa.

Which threats ?

I live in wetlands, which are more and more threatened habitats through droughts and human activities. Not only that : I am also hunted and my eggs are gathered. I am also victim of electrocution and collisions with power lines.

Kiwiwho’s word to save the royal crane

Wetlands have to be protected : they do not belong to men only ! Limiting the use of pesticides, that I absorb feeding on plants, would be a good idea too.
