Where do I live ?

I only live in Chile. The most of my population resides on the Chiloé island, a few kilometers away from the continent.

Which threats ?

Often, domestic dogs let loose attack me or transmit me fatal diseases. It also happens that man captures me to make me a pet.

Kiwiwho’s word to save the Darwin’s fox

All the forests where I live are protected and man tries to vaccinate the dogs of the region, which would at least reduce the diseases transmissions. Owners should be sensitized too : most of them don’t officially declare their domestic animals.
